Recently , I have experienced a lot , not only something about knowledge and future,but my own affection. I always feel confused just like the discussion between René Descartes and Immanuel Kant. I  really can't catch their main opinions, because they are beyond my IQ. Yet I have been thinking about the question intangibly,pure reason or no? 

      Why does it arise in my head ? That's a long story I really do not want to recollect. Someone gave me a critique of my pure reason and realism. Of course, I had to admit that I absolutely was that kind of person in the above critique. My God, tell me where is the end in spite of a happy or a tragedy.

      Anyway, I have chattered and complained for a long time. That's not my original idea. I just want to talk about something I'm intrigued in.

     That's a story about Christopher Columbus.

     Here I was reading a book about India and Globalization--more than five hundred years after Columbus sailed over the horizon,using the rudimentary navigational technologies of his day, to search for precious metals,silk,and spices--the sources of wealth in his day but returned to prove definitively that the world was round. Even more interesting, the author of the book is essentially telling me that the world is flat--as flat as the screen of my notebook PC in front.

    Clearly Nandan is right: It is now possible for more people than ever to cllaborate and compete in real time with more other people on more different kinds of work from more different corners of the planet and on a more equal footing than at any previous time in the history of the world--using computers,e-mail,fiber-opticnetwork,teleconferencing,and dynamic new software.

    As I come to this realization, I am filled with both excitement and dread. I'm excited personally,because what the flattening of the world means is that we are now connecting all the konwledge centers on the planet together into a single-global network which could usher in an amazing prosperity,innovation,and collaboration. 

   At the same time, I am full of dread, because I can rarely take advantage of the single-global networks. In addtion, my personal dread also derives from the obvious fact that the playing field is leveld while we will face more severe competition.
